During the last twenty years the new political, economic, social and cultural traditions have developed in Central and Eastern Europe. With the decay of the Eastern bloc the era of the basic social transformations has begun for this region.
The transition to a market economy and democracy was a radical reform, which had effects on people’s values, social settings and behavioral norms.The states of CEE have lately made significant political and economic progress and are integrated institutionally into international economic relations. The Central and Eastern European states belong to the most important trading partners of German enterprises.
